Manuka Honey Porridge Recipe
A Very Special Oatmeal Recipe with the Goodness of Honey!
Nothing beats the classic combination of honey and oats! The addition of cream makes this a very decadent oatmeal recipe. If you’re health conscious, consider adding a UMF Manuka Honey. Honey Porridge Recipe Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 200ml water
- 200ml milk
- A pinch of salt
- 100g whole oats
- 1 apple (if desired)
- 2 Tablespoons UMF Manuka Honey
- 1/2 Cup cream
Method:
- Combine the water, milk and salt in a saucepan.
- Add the oats cook on a gentle heat, stirring constantly, for around 10 minutes until cooked through.
- Add grated apple and stir through the honey.
- To serve: Pour the Honey Porridge into warmed bowls. Top with the cream and add another swirl of UMF Manuka Honey.
